Through inspiring photography adventures, children are encouraged to explore the world around them, notice the little things, express their creativity and tell their own stories through photographs.

Algarve Photo Kids is built on the belief that every child has a unique way of seeing the world, and that every photograph tells a story worth sharing.

This is not a competition.

There are no judges, no scores and no winners.

Whether a child uses a camera or a mobile phone, what matters most is curiosity, imagination and the joy of discovering something new.

To inspire children to slow down, look closer and discover the beauty in everyday moments through photography.

By encouraging observation, creativity and self-expression, Algarve Photo Kids aims to help children build confidence, develop their artistic voice and create meaningful memories through photography.

Summer Photography Adventure 2026

The Summer Photography Adventure 2026 is part of the Algarve Photo Kids project.

Throughout the adventure, children will explore the world around them through a series of creative photography challenges designed to spark curiosity, encourage observation and inspire visual storytelling.

Each challenge invites children to slow down, look closer and discover beauty in everyday moments while expressing their own unique perspective through photography.

Meet the Founder

Hi, I'm Paulina — a professional photographer, mother and the founder of Algarve Photo Kids.

Photography has always been much more than taking pictures. It is a way of slowing down, observing the world and discovering beauty in everyday moments.

The idea for Algarve Photo Kids was born from a simple belief: children notice things that adults often overlook. Through photography, they can express their imagination, build confidence and tell stories in their own unique way.

My dream is to create a welcoming space where children can explore photography without pressure or competition — simply for the joy of creating, discovering and seeing the world through their own eyes.
